We value your privacy and are committed to handling your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This section explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you enrol in one of our online courses.

What We Collect

When you enrol in an online course, we may collect personal information such as your name, contact details, billing information, and any preferences or feedback you choose to provide. We collect this information directly from you or via our third-party service providers (e.g., payment gateways and learning-management systems).

How We Use Your Information

  • Process enrolments and payments;
  • Provide access to course materials and related support;
  • Communicate with you about course updates, new offerings, or promotions (you can opt out of marketing communications at any time);
  • Meet our legal and professional obligations.

We do not use any personal information for advertising regulated health services or publish testimonials about clinical outcomes in our marketing materials, in line with AHPRA’s Advertising Guidelines for Regulated Health Services.

Disclosure

We may share your personal information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in delivering our courses (e.g., payment processors, hosting platforms, or email providers). These providers are required to protect your information and use it only for the purpose it was provided. We will not otherwise disclose your personal information without your consent, unless required by law.

Third-Party Platforms

Our online courses and payment processing are hosted and managed through trusted third-party service providers, including SamCart. When you make a purchase or enrol in a course, your personal information—such as your name, email address, and payment details—is collected and processed by SamCart to facilitate secure checkout and course delivery.

SamCart’s systems comply with international privacy and security standards, and your data may be stored on servers located outside Australia. We encourage you to review SamCart’s Privacy Policy for more information on how your data is handled.

We do not receive or store your full payment card details; these are processed securely by the payment gateway integrated with SamCart (such as Stripe or PayPal).

Storage and Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference and loss, and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Data is stored on secure servers; access is limited to authorised personnel only. Where personal information is stored or processed by third-party systems, we ensure those providers maintain appropriate data protection and security practices.

Access and Correction

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you or ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. Requests can be made by emailing support@adhdandher.com.au. We will respond to your request within a reasonable timeframe, in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Some of our third-party service providers (such as SamCart, Stripe or email automation tools) may store or process data on servers located outside Australia. By using our online courses, you consent to this transfer of information, provided those providers maintain adequate privacy and security safeguards.
